On the Ocoee the Upper section is most challenging and is the former 1996 Olympic white water slalom course.The Middle section is non-stop playful rapids and runs 4 days/week all season. Within easy driving distance from Atlanta Georgia, both Ocoee river trips are for ages 12 and older.

The Upper Pigeon River is playful white water and more intense than the Lower Pigeon River section. Ages 8+ can raft the bouncy Upper Pigeon through the Smokies. The Lower Pigeon trip is the calmest stretch of river that Wildwater runs in the Southeast and has the lowest age requirement at 4 years old. Both Pigeon River trips run 4 days/week from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Rafting on the Pigeon River is a must-do bucket list item for vacationers to the Tennessee side of Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the nearby booming amusement and shopping cities of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, TN!
