Wildwater has a long history of understanding and serving the needs of groups, offering group rates for 10 or more with options for adventure packages, on-site lodging, catering, shuttle services and more. We proudly serve Colleges & Universities, Corporate Retreats, Church and Youth Groups, School Groups, Girl and Boy Scout Troops and Camps from all over the Southeast. One day white water rafting or ziplining trips are available at all adventure center locations. Onsite lodging is available at our Chattooga and Nantahala adventure center locations catered meals are available at all locations.

Every year we proudly serve the University of Tennessee football, Duke Women’s Soccer, UNC Lacrosse, College of Charleston Soccer and many more with white water rafting team bonding trips.
“I took a group of college students to Wildwater Chattooga and everyone had a blast! We did Section IV and it proved to be the perfect amount of intensity that the group was craving. There are some serious rapids on this section which makes for an awesome trip. Guides are very knowledgeable, cognizant of safety, and make the experience amazing. We stayed at the Group Yurts during the trip – very cozy. For people who may be skittish of legitimate camping, this is a good experience to “commune with nature” while also having comfort amenities (private bathrooms, kitchen access, running water, etc). The staff provided some delicious meals. Definitely partake in the lake kayaking if you want to experience the atmosphere – very peaceful and serene out there. Our guides also took us to a rope swing and 25 foot rock jump which our group loved as well. Very happy with this location and the experience overall, will definitely be going back in the future.”

“My husband’s company took us on a retreat to focus on team building. I was a bit apprehensive about what type of activities we were scheduled to do as part of the trip. I had never gone white water rafting, zip lining, rock wall climbing, nor completed a ropes course. However, once we arrived at Wildwater, I was very happy to meet and get to know countless guides who were both experienced and helpful. Kevin was our rafting guide, Amy and Charlie were our ropes course/rock wall guides, and Anna and Katie were our zip lining guides. All were polite, courteous, respectful, helpful, understanding, patient, etc! I cannot say enough about each one.

“Our department decided to try whitewater rafting as our team building activity, and we selected Whitewater Ltd. as the outfitter because of the proximity to the put in, and the restaurant on site. We had an awesome experience! The guides were great, the staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs and the facility was perfect for the size of our group (31). Everyone agreed that this was one of the best team building activities that they had ever participated in. We may have to make this a yearly event! Thanks to everyone at Whitewater for making our summer event so memorable!

“We just took a youth group from our church in MS to Wildwater at Pigeon River in Hartford, TN. We had 28 youth and adults. All youth and most adults did zip lines and rafting. A few of us older adults did a jeep tour. Everyone had an awesome time. Wildwater is easy to work with on reservations and at the location we were using. Thanks for great time! Christa”

“We were recently at Wildwater with a church camp. The week was flawless. The staff was so helpful and friendly. I had been very worried about taking a group of 25 teenage girls whitewater rafting, but the day on the river will be such a great memory because of the fun loving yet extremely professional river guides. The yurts were clean and comfortable. The commons area/dining hall was perfect for our group activities and meals. The restrooms were clean and beautiful. Our expectations for the week were greatly exceeded ! Wonderful place!”

“Taking raft trips with this company is a thrill! I’ve had the pleasure of rafting on the Chattooga River several times with them and the great experience they provide is consistently exhilarating! Their enthusiastic and skilled guides make this challenging river come alive for both novice and experienced rafters.
Underlying the thrills, is a deep commitment to safe practices. I’ve now done separate trips with my young adult children, with old friends and their adult children, and with my high school students, some of whom have special needs. In every version the trip leaders and other staff have respected the river and guided us through it safely. Our high school is looking forward to making this an annual event for our students! “We had a terrific experience with Erin and all the guides for our 8th grade class trip to Clayton, Ga and Wildwater. Our group of 42 students and 10 adults were active and enjoyed rafting the Chatooga, mastering the zip line canopy tour and participating in both high and low ropes courses. The meals were good and all of the guides were excellent, both fun and professional. Our school has done this trip for several years and while it was my first experience as a parent, and in charge of the group, I will definitely be going back again.”

“We took 37 scouts and 17 adult leaders on a week long adventure. This is the first time we did not go to a regular BSA scout camp, but put together our own trip with the help of Trey & Cricket Barnett at Wildwater. The whole experience went off without a hitch. The staff at Wildwater, as well as the outside contractors they set us up with, were all very helpful, professional and courteous. We all had an awesome time, both boys and adults, and have already decided to do this again in two years when we again travel out of state for our summer camp activity.”

Camps and Youth Groups
Personal and social development within an adventure setting is what great camps are all about! Campers’ favorite camp trips always include their Wildwater rafting experiences. We’ve been serving southeastern summer camps since 1971.
“We rafted the Chattooga Section III with Wild Water last week (Aug 13, 2015). Though the water level was a little low, the experience was great. We took 55 students and adults down the river that day and the Wildwater staff was excellent. Oh…and the students still can’t stop talking about how great the lunch tasted. Thanks for a great experience! That day our students were led by over 11 guides who did a great job. Special shout out to my raft guide…Ashley. Thanks.”
