Avoid the chaos and long shopping lines on Black Friday and join Wildwater for the 7th Annual Green Friday November 24 at two of our Zipline Canopy Tour locations. We will donate 50% of all proceeds from our aerial adventures to some great organizations including Asheville GreenWorks, RiverLink in Asheville, Watershed Association of the Tuckasegee River and Arbor Source hemlock treatment programs.
Green Friday is our alternative to Black Friday and has already generated over $9,000 in donations to plant trees and improve green spaces in our communities. Instead of standing in long lines you can have fun zipping and climbing in them. Green Friday always happens on the Friday following Thanksgiving, so this years event will be November 24. Participants have to be 10 & 70 lbs. to go on a canopy tour, but kids as young as 4 can enjoy the new Kidzip at the Nantahala plus the KidZip and TreeTops Adventure Park at the Adventure Center of Asheville.
