WILDWATER NANTAHALA
The group lodge is perfect for a “no worry” get away with family and friends. Hike, talk, eat, take the canopy tour, visit local sites and cities. Pure FUN!
We decided to take the teens from our church on a whitewater rafting trip, and we chose this place because it had some of the best reviews. We had a group of 19, and everything went very smoothly. The staff was very welcoming, and we were even welcomed publicly on the message board! A lot of our rafters were first-timers, so this river was perfect for our group. All of our teens had a wonderful time. There was not one complaint from anyone.
Overall, we had an incredible time, and we will definitely come back again!
WILDWATER CHATTOOGA
“Great rafing experience for large group!”
We took 16 Boy Scouts and Leaders rafting on the Chatooga River (Section 3) with Wildwater. The trip leader was extremely friendly and funny. All of our boat guides did a great job. Even having rain on the 2nd half of the trip didn’t dampen the experience.

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to express how much we enjoyed this trip! We had a large group(5 rafts), ages ranging from 10 to 64 years old, do the 7 hour trip on August 12, 2013. We all had a magnificent time thanks to the WW Rafting crew. What a professional group of people..felt safe the whole time…plenty of food for a healthy lunch. Could not have asked for a more organized, fun and humorous group of guides … Thank you Andrew, Rothell, Alex, Drew and Forrest for making our WWR experience a total blast.
We took our church youth group in June and stayed on campus in the yurts. Everything was first class! The yurts were great. Wildwater has a pavilion that has a kitchen and hot showers, so you don’t have to ” rough it “. The campus is neat and interesting. Good store on site. But what makes this place great was the staff. They were TERRIFIC! Not only were they professional on the river, they were great with our kids. ( We had about fifteen 7 – 12 graders).
Big thanks to Nikole, Cassidy,Alex,Ryan, Chris, and Charlie on our Section 3 run. And thanks to Josh, Ryan (again), Asia, Annie, Brandon and Devon for the Section 4 run. Y’all are pros!
