Continuing the tradition of giving back, Wildwater is hosting the 9th Annual Raft For the Cure at the Ocoee on Saturday, September 26th, which benefits Susan G. Koman Foundation Chattanooga. This year we are adding zipping! When making your rafting reservations on this date, you’ll know that a portion of your rafting dollar is going to support these worthy organizations. The Zip trip time for survivors and sponsors is 9:30 and the raft trip is at 2:00. Also, don’t forget to stay for the reception honoring survivors at 6:00!
Jennifer Matthews, affiliate coordinator for Komen Chattanooga, says she appreciates the donations and loves the rafters’ creativity. “There’s no right or wrong way to raise funds,” she says. “Whether you want to have a pink yard sale or rafting, the sky is the limit.”
