The Ocoee Middle, Tennessee’s favorite rafting trip, is a perfect half day trip for experts, novices, couples, family groups, youth groups and clubs. This trip has been enjoyed by millions and is the most popular whitewater in the Southeast United States. Rapids like Vegematic, Double Trouble, Diamond Splitter, Powerhouse and Tablesaw mean continuous excitement as you paddle under the instruction of a guide. You will be a part of a five to seven person team led by your experienced guide paddling the five miles of whitewater named in CANOE MAGAZINE as one of the ten best whitewater runs in the country. As a dam controlled river, water levels on the Ocoee remain high all summer.
Be sure to try our Wildwater Willie’s Mine Shaft Restaurant at the Ocoee Rafting Center, open May through October. Make it a full day by adding an Upper Ocoee trip on summer Weekends for a full 10 miles of action, includes lunch. Or enjoy our Ocoee Basin Zipline Canopy Tour open 7 days a week in the summer.
