This photo; “July at Bull Sluice” was typical for the 2013 Wildwater Season. The 2013 Spring season began as most every other season. Water levels were normal for the Spring, and then it started to rain, and boy did it rain! We believe that 2013 was the rainiest season on record! The Chattooga ran it’s highest in July, keeping the Section IV trips from running the complete trip to the lake for almost a month. High water Section III trips were the norm, providing Guests a full 13 mile trip full of big water excitement! But the rain did not only affect the Chattooga, the Nantahala, Ocoee and Pigeon Rivers all experienced high water trips during the summer as well. So far, with the rains we have had this past Fall and this Winter, it looks like another great season of water in 2014!
