The Upper Ocoee, located in SE Tennessee, is a perfect half-day trip for experts, novices, family groups, youth groups and clubs. Dry prior to the 1996 Olympics, the Upper Ocoee has once again come alive. This challenging section features the Olympic Whitewater course plus four and a half additional miles of exciting whitewater. Our professionally-trained guides will navigate you through class III and IV rapids such as “Humongous,” “Let’s Make a Deal” and “Slam Dunk.” A dam-controlled river, the Ocoee water levels remain high all summer. Whitewater releases and rafting on the Upper Ocoee are limited to summer weekends.
Consider combining your Upper Ocoee Rafting Trip with either a Middle Ocoee Rafting Trip or Zipline the Ocoee Basin Canopy Tours for a full day of adventure!
If you need things to do while in Atlanta, Blue Ridge, Chattanooga and Knoxville, the Ocoee is a short distance away!
