2016 is shaping up to be a monumental year at Wildwater with the first full season of KidZip and…well, one more surprise that will have to wait until the end. 😉
In 2015, we introduced KidZip to the Nantahala Region. Since the Nantahala allows children as young as 7 years old, we realized that we had to provide a zipline activity that matched. The result is KidZip – with 13 ziplines on three separate loops, this activity allows parents a few seconds to breathe and simply watch and listen as their kids (ages 4-12) have the time of their lives. 4-6 yr. olds must have paying adult escort on the course with them. 7 -12 year olds enjoy the course with adult chaperon nearby.
Now for the big surprise! While walking the property at Falling Waters (our adventure resort at the Nantahala) this fall, we realized the potential beauty we had hidden in the trees. This year, we are introducing Weddings at Falling Waters by Wildwater! Located at the edge of the Nantahala Gorge overlooking Fontana Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Weddings at Falling Waters not only stands out because of beauty but also because of the service that accompanies everything we do.
