Asheville Zipline Canopy Adventures
The canopy adventure includes 11 zipline sections, nine treetop platforms, three adventure tower platforms, three sky bridges and ziplines from several hundred feet long to almost 1200 feet long. You’ll reach heights of more than 70 feet and speeds of 30 miles per hour. Additional Zipline was added in 2014!
Asheville Treetops Adventure Park
This experience should not be confused with and is very different from the fully guided Canopy Tour.
Asheville Treetops Adventure Park includes approximately 50 unique climbing, zipping, walking, jumping, swinging and rappelling challenges anchored to over 30 trees and towering poles tucked in a wooded area. The park has 4 trails to choose from including 1 easy “Green” trail, 2 intermediate “Yellow” trails and 1 advanced “Red” trail. Each “Trail” includes 10 to 15 different challenges to complete the circuit. Also, check out the new KidZip and TreeQuest Parks!
Kid Zip is America’s first zipline adventure designed for kids 4-10 years old. It includes 9 Ziplines and 4 fun climbing elements. It is a self-guided tour with the exception of an adult escort. The ziplines range from 50 feet to 250 feet long. They range from 25 feet high to ground level.
The Adventure Center of Asheville is taking rock climbing to the trees! Climbing trees is the classic outdoor adventure that we all loved as children. As we grew up we all got into rock climbing…so we decided to combine tree climbing and rock climbing by attaching rock climbing holds to some of our favorite trees at the Adventure Center.
Kolo Bike Park
2013 saw the addition of bike trails, rentals and events. Check out http://www.kolobikepark.com/
