Chattooga River Rafting Center
Chattooga Section III Trip
Section III of the Chattooga is the perfect trip for novices and family groups. Most of the rapids on this section are Class II and III, gradually increasing in difficulty as the trip progresses. Bull Sluice is the highlight of the trip. Dropping 14 feet over a series of two drops, this challenging rapid provides a resounding introduction to the technical rapids downstream. There are fully guided rafts on this trip. At our Chattooga Rafting Center Pavillion, between Memorial Day and Labor Day, all Friday trips include our BBQ dinner with all the fix'ins and Saturday trips include a hamburger/hotdog cookout. |
