Chattooga Mult-Day Adventure
Want a true multi-day wilderness experience? Come join Wildwater and our Team for three days and two nights on the Chattooga River. We will start with easy floating and mild rapids and end on Section IV with the steepest section of river including the famed Five Falls section of the Chattooga. Enjoy camping by the river, meeting new friends and learning about the flora, fauna and the history of the Chattooga River.
The trip cost includes all meals from departure until return, sleeping pads & tents, along with waterproof bags for personal items. Wetsuits and booties are also provided for on-the water river wear.
*All Chattooga trips require that guests hike into and out of the 1/4 mile protected corridor. Guests should consider the strenuous nature of the trip and expect to assist in carrying equipment.
Cost of trip: $405.00- $480.00 (depending on weekday/weekend/group size)
Meet at the Chattooga Rafting Center at 11 am for introductions and packing; expect to head to the river after lunch and launch at about 2 pm. Camps will be informal and relaxed with time to hike, read a book or just lay back and enjoy the serenity. We should be back to the Rafting Center at about 2 pm on the last day for showers, a slide show of photos from your trip, gift shopping and a farewell to new friends.
