Raft the Chattooga River! Raft the Ocoee River! Raft the Nantahala River! Raft the Pigeon River!



Section III Mini-Trip is the perfect trip for novices, families with younger children, and older guests wanting to spend a half day rafting.  The trip features a portion of our regular Section III fully guided trip, includes a snack and concludes with the exciting challenge of Bull Sluice Rapid (optional).

*All Chattooga trips require that guests hike into and out of the 1/4 mile protected corridor. Guests should consider the strenuous nature of the trip and expect to assist in carrying equipment.


Minimum Age: 8 years

Intensity Level: Mild to moderate. No previous whitewater experience needed. Fully guided trip.

Trip Length: Approximately 4 hours

Equipment
Furnished:
Raft, paddle, life jacket, helmet, paddling jacket,(free wet suit during March, April, October and November), and rental booties.

Transportation Provided: To and from the river from our Rafting Center in Long Creek, SC.

Facilities: Changing rooms and shower, river store, picnic area, horseshoes, volleyball, ropes course & rental cabins.
